German for the Workplace 1

The programme runs over one semester on a part-time basis. Teaching is blended: live online sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, recorded for later viewing, plus a single on-campus assessment. Students study about four hours per week and earn ten credits.

On completion learners reach CEFR A1+ level and can carry out basic work-related conversations in German, read simple texts and write short summaries. This prepares them for entry-level roles in companies with German contacts or for further language study.
