Global Communication at the University of Rzeszów, in Rzeszów, Poland, is a bachelor's degree taught in English over 3 years. The program, offered under the Media, Visual and Social Communication major, responds to a job market that increasingly calls for effective communication in both visual and social contexts, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The curriculum is varied, mixing theoretical classes, practical workshops, and research projects, with an educational process built around active methods such as case studies, simulations, and fieldwork intended to stimulate critical thinking and student engagement. Course content is regularly updated to match the evolving demands of the labour market and the needs of students. The program promotes teamwork and interdisciplinarity, giving students the chance to gain experience across a variety of professional environments, and classes are taught by practitioners working in media and communications, giving students direct access to current knowledge and practical skills. Because the program is taught exclusively in English, students also develop language skills in an international context; the curriculum places particular emphasis on specialised language for specific purposes, preparing students to communicate effectively in areas such as marketing, business, media, and design. Graduates of programs in this field typically pursue careers in public relations, journalism, digital marketing, and corporate communications, applying skills in content strategy, media analysis, and audience research across companies, agencies, and international organizations that operate in English-speaking or multilingual environments.
