The Graduate Certificate in Aboriginal Studies is a part-time program for those who want to learn about Aboriginal history, spirituality, culture, and issues. It's a one-year program that leads to careers in community and youth work, justice, education, and healthcare. You'll gain a deep understanding of Indigenous Australian cultures and histories.

The curriculum covers four courses, including a compulsory core course called The Silent History, which is delivered as an 8-day intensive session at the Broome Campus. You'll also choose three elective courses, such as Aboriginal People and the Legal System, The Cultural and Spiritual Life of Aboriginal People, and Aboriginal People in Contemporary Australian Society. These courses help you develop skills in critical thinking, research, and cultural awareness.

After completing this program, you can pursue careers as a Community Worker, Youth Worker, Justice Officer, Education Officer, or Healthcare Professional.
