This part-time program is taught in English and can be completed in one year, with four courses that provide a foundational knowledge of Indigenous Australia and its history.

The curriculum includes a compulsory core course, ABOR5000 The Silent History, and three additional elective courses that allow students to specialize in topics such as Aboriginal People and the Legal System, and Aboriginal culture and spirituality. Students will also have the opportunity to spend time at Notre Dame's Broome Campus and participate in an overnight camping trip with Traditional Owners.
