The two-year Graphic Communications diploma at the Regina campus provides hands-on training with industry-standard software, covering design principles, composition, typography, colour theory, photography, vector and motion graphics, packaging, visual identity, UI/UX, marketing and portfolio development. Instructors are practising professionals who guide students through design thinking, user research and client communication. The programme includes work-integrated learning and a mandatory four-week industry placement, developing professional project management and portfolio skills that align with employer expectations. Students also learn colour management, file preparation and production for print and digital media, preparing them for roles in graphic design, advertising and related fields.
