Grafik Tasarımı

For Grafik Tasarımı, tuition fees are 18,400 USD per year.

Graphic Design centers on the visual communication of ideas through the deliberate use of typography, imagery, color, and layout across both print and digital media. A typical curriculum introduces core design principles before moving into applied coursework covering branding and visual identity, editorial and publication design, digital and interactive design, and increasingly motion graphics and user interface work, generally taught through hands-on studio projects. Students learn to use professional design software as a working tool while also developing conceptual thinking about how visual communication functions for different audiences and purposes. The discipline is closely tied to advertising, media, publishing, and technology industries, and graduates commonly pursue careers as graphic designers, brand and identity designers, digital or UI designers, or art directors, as well as further study in design fields. This bachelor's program is offered by İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, with instruction conducted entirely in English over 4 years. Instruction in English gives students access to the largely English-language body of international design references, software tools, and industry publications used throughout the field. Over the four years, students are expected to build a portfolio through progressively more advanced design projects, with critique and revision forming a standard part of studio-based design education. This project-driven structure is characteristic of graphic design programs generally. Based in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, the university setting provides a broad creative and cultural backdrop for design study throughout the program.
