The Higher Technical School for Information, Metal, and Electrical Engineering is designed for students aiming for a dual vocational training in technical fields. This program provides foundational vocational education and introduces students to the basics of professional training in technical professions. It addresses the growing demand for highly qualified specialists in the industry, leading to a full Fachhochschulreife (university entrance qualification) by the end of the 12th grade.

In the 11th grade, students transition into dual vocational training, alternating between practical experience in a company and theoretical learning at school. They will explore operational processes and technical fundamentals in information technology, metal technology, and electrical engineering. The curriculum is structured to integrate practical experiences with classroom instruction, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers.

Graduates of the program can pursue various career paths, including roles such as Technical Specialist, IT Technician, Electrical Engineer, and Automation Technician. They will be equipped with transferable skills applicable in diverse industries, including manufacturing, technology, and engineering. The program not only prepares students for immediate employment but also lays the groundwork for further studies in technical fields.
