The History programme at Centre College is a full-time, on-campus degree that spans four years. Students take survey courses in world and American history before advancing into specialized regional and thematic courses across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Upper-level students complete a research seminar and an independent study under faculty supervision.

Students may study languages such as Chinese and Spanish, pursue subjects including behavioral neuroscience and biochemistry, and combine disciplines in their academic plans. Centre also commits to helping students graduate in four years. Financial aid is an important part of access, with scholarships and grants supporting students who need assistance with college costs.
