Students select three areas of emphasis from English, History, Music, Psychology, and Theater to study in depth. They complete required courses in each area, including 3000- and 4000-level classes and a capstone course. The programme integrates Christian truth with humanities and arts disciplines through interdisciplinary study. Students engage in practicum experiences, ensemble participation, and research-based coursework.

The programme requires 125 credit hours distributed across a 62-hour Arts and Sciences Core, a 42-hour Humanities and Arts Major, and a 21-hour Theological Studies Major. Students complete a capstone course and must maintain a 2.00 GPA in all segments.

Graduates enter fields such as counseling, law, journalism, ministry, and graduate study in English, history, psychology, and theater.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum 2.00 GPA is required. Official transcripts and application materials are required for admission.

The programme totals about 125 credit hours. On-campus, full-time, typically four years. For international students, tuition is below the median for US programmes.

Welch College has grown into a Christian community of faith and learning in Gallatin, Tennessee. Professors teach from a biblical perspective and mentor students as they consider the implications of Scripture and the Christian worldview in their fields.

Students may live on campus or commute in Gallatin, with campus life including Christian service, community activities, the arts, athletics, and student wellness. Welch competes in NCCAA Division II athletics, with sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. International students should know that the college’s academic and community experience is explicitly Christian, with spiritual formation central to student life. Graduate applicants can pursue programs in theology and ministry, teaching, humanities, or organizational leadership, while adult and online study is available to applicants aged 23 and older.
