Master in Il Mediterraneo, l’eroe, la polis

At Libera Università di lingue e comunicazione IULM-MI, tuition fees are 10,806 EUR per year.

Omero e la nascita dell’uomo moderno is one of the modules in this programme, where students delve into the Omeric poems' influence on modern literature, and explore their contemporary relevance.

This programme aims to bridge the gap between classical and humanistic subjects taught in high school and the university courses and labs, particularly in performing arts and film, offered at IULM. It fosters a deep understanding of how ancient texts and themes continue to resonate in modern contexts, and examines their recent interpretations and adaptations. Students will explore how figures like Achille, Ulisse, and Erodoto remain relevant in today's discussions on identity and migration, and how modern authors and directors have reinterpreted these figures in various media.
