Rooted in the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, a partner of the Second Level Master Programme, the curriculum provides a blend of online teaching and hands-on courses. The 18-month modular programme is designed for general dentists who have already used implantology in their practices. The programme is structured to include six modules of five days each, with a mixed-mode approach of on-campus lessons and live distance learning. The first module takes place online and the remaining five in person, involving live surgeries and input from an international faculty, guest lecturers, and fellow students.

The programme concludes with a thesis on implantology topics, which is prepared and discussed throughout the year. The programme also includes a 1000-hour internship and 1250 hours of study and preparation, culminating in a final thesis on implantology topics. Successful graduates receive the academic title of ‘Second Level Master Program (CPD course) in Implant Dentistry’ and are equipped to plan and implement therapy concepts for patients requiring dental implant prosthetics, as well as select, analyse and integrate a full range of treatments and knowledge in this field of dental implantology.
