About the Program

The Master of Science in Information Engineering and Computer Science at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences addresses the acquisition, processing, validation, presentation, and security of data and information. The programme provides depth in distributed network and computing systems and the handling of large data sets. Students choose one of four specialisation tracks: Computer Science, Environmental Engineering, Logistics, Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. The three-semester programme accepts students in both winter and summer semesters. The first two semesters provide theoretical and practical foundations, covering areas such as system simulation, data mining, data analysis and information engineering, statistics, and geoinformatics, alongside key competencies in scientific and technical communication, intercultural management, and innovation management. Each semester includes an applied research project. The third semester is devoted to the Master's thesis and colloquium. The programme is offered at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany.
