Intermedial Design

The Intermedial Design program at the Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe is a three-year non-degree program for students pursuing the Educator of Fine Arts Secondary Level program. It's taught in English and focuses on artistic research and practical application.

Students learn about artistic processes, digital media, and performance. They work on hands-on projects and collaborate with the Faculty of Architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. This helps them develop essential skills for modern educational settings, such as understanding space and time as artistic forms.

Graduates can work as Fine Arts Educators, Art Coordinators, or Curriculum Developers. They can find jobs in schools, community art programs, or educational institutions. Other possible job titles include Art Therapist, Arts Administrator, and Teacher of Fine Arts.
