International Business Management at HWR Berlin is a business administration programme with a strong international and intercultural focus, taught entirely in English. The first three semesters cover foundational subjects including business administration, economics, business law, social sciences, quantitative methods, information technology, management skills, and a second foreign language. From the fourth semester onward, students choose from specialisations in Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management and Organisational Design, and/or Global Supply Chain and Operations Management, while continuing to deepen their core business administration knowledge and intercultural competences. The programme runs over 8 semesters, starting in both winter and summer semesters. Study groups consist of 35 to 40 students. German students complete a study abroad semester in the fifth and sixth semesters; international students may complete their full studies in Berlin. One semester is spent in an internship abroad or with an international company in Germany. The final semester is dedicated to the Bachelor's thesis.
