Bachelor in International Economic Studies (BSc)

The Bachelor's degree in International Economic Studies (BSc) at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg provides a grounding in economic analysis and international economic policy across a six-semester programme. All courses are conducted in English. The programme covers international economics, international business, and international politics, with core modules in each area supplemented by quantitative tools in statistics and data analysis and a reflection component focused on current international economic topics. Students select elective courses from topics in international economic studies, international business, and international politics, and must acquire language proficiency in at least one chosen language, which may include English, French, Spanish, or German (for non-native speakers). A mandatory semester abroad, integrated into the curriculum, allows students to gain direct experience at a partner university in another country. The programme is based at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in Nürnberg, with intake in the winter semester.
