Bachelor in International Relations

For Bachelor in International Relations, tuition costs 2,300 EUR per year.

International Relations examines how states, international organizations, and other actors interact across political, economic, and security dimensions. Typical coursework includes international politics theory, foreign policy analysis, international law, global political economy, diplomacy, and the study of international organizations such as the United Nations, alongside regional studies covering different parts of the world. Students learn to analyze conflicts, negotiations, and cooperation between states, evaluate the role of international institutions, and understand how economic interdependence and security concerns shape foreign policy decisions. The program typically combines historical and theoretical study with analysis of contemporary global issues, including trade disputes, security alliances, and multilateral diplomacy. Graduates commonly pursue careers in diplomacy, international organizations, government foreign affairs departments, nongovernmental organizations, journalism, and international business, and the degree also supports further graduate study in international relations, political science, or public policy. This bachelor's program is offered at European University of Lefke in Lefke, Northern Cyprus, and is taught in English over 4 years. Instruction combines lectures on international relations theory with discussion of current events and case studies of specific diplomatic or security situations. Students develop research and analytical writing skills alongside a structured understanding of how global politics functions, preparing them to interpret and engage with the international issues that increasingly affect governments, businesses, and communities across borders.
