Bachelor in International relations

The Bachelor's programme in International Relations at The University of Dąbrowa Górnicza, taught in English over three years and six semesters, builds a foundation in the basics of international law alongside the skills needed to manage a company operating in international markets. Students gain knowledge of finance and international payments, combining theoretical grounding with practical decision-making tools, and learn about the economic instruments and customs regulations that apply within the European Union. The curriculum covers social and cultural anthropology, general culture, economics, EU law, contemporary political systems, international economic relations, international finance, management of international institutions, and foreign languages. Graduates find work in national and international administrative institutions, in Polish and foreign companies, in research and expert organizations, in mass media, and in diplomacy. The programme also offers specialties taught in English, including International Tourism and International Business, and provides study and internship opportunities abroad through the Erasmus+ programme, along with study visits, workshops and case studies. As with international relations programmes generally, the discipline draws on political science, law, economics and history to examine how states, businesses and organizations interact across borders, preparing graduates for careers spanning diplomacy, international trade, consulting, and public administration, as well as further study at the master's level in related social science fields.
