The Introduction to Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) program is a non-degree course that teaches students to detect and mitigate security threats. It is an online course taught in English and lasts several weeks. The main advantage of this program is that it provides hands-on skills for detecting and mitigating security threats.

The curriculum covers Host-Based (HIDS) and Network-Based Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS), including core components, signature-based and anomaly-based detection, and practical experience with IDS tools on virtual machines. Students will learn to configure IDS technologies, develop custom rules, and evaluate IDS performance quantitatively.

Upon completion, students can pursue careers as IT Security Specialists, Network Administrators, Cybersecurity Analysts, Incident Responders, or Security Consultants.
