About: The MA in Jewish Thought at the University of Haifa offers a rigorous interdisciplinary approach to Judaism in a distinctive international setting. Led by internationally recognized faculty, the program combines cutting-edge academic research with immersive engagement with Jewish civilization, including history, literature, philosophy, Bible, Talmud, and modern thought. The program is part of the University of Haifa’s School of Area Studies and History, home to a wide range of programs that collaborate in both research and teaching. Its flexible structure allows students to choose from a variety of courses and to pursue extensive research opportunities. Located in Haifa, Israel’s most culturally diverse city, the program offers a singular opportunity to explore the dynamic interactions between Judaism and other religious traditions. Learning extends beyond the classroom through field trips, interfaith seminars, and Hebrew language instruction, all within an international student community drawn from across the globe. Graduates will be awarded a Master of Arts (MA) in Jewish Thought.
