Engaging with partners such as the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, the Kunstgeschichte Master at the University of Bamberg provides wide-ranging coverage in areas like architectural history, art theory, and image science, alongside the ability to specialise in medieval, early modern, or modern art. The programme also integrates an extensive range of interdisciplinary electives from fields such as monument preservation, archaeology, and Oriental studies.

This is complemented by close collaborations with major museums and regular events held directly in museums and collections, enhancing practical experience through broad excursion opportunities and hands-on sessions with original works.
