These are the sorts of questions that a degree in Lateinische Philologie answers through an in-depth study of Latin and, to a lesser extent, Greek literature. Students are introduced to the methodologies of the field and the systematic nature of classical meter. The programme covers topics such as Latin and Greek literature and history, as well as the reception of classical literature in European literature. Through practical exercises, students improve their ability to read, understand, and interpret Latin texts.
