Humber College is a college of applied arts and technology in Toronto, Canada. It has an established Law Clerk program that prepares students for employment in the legal profession. The program consists of three levels: the Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced. Through the courses offered in this program, students gain comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian legal system, including administrative law, civil litigation, contract law, property law and criminal law. They also learn legal research and writing, court procedures, legal office operations and communications. The program is designed to meet the needs of the legal profession and to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in the legal field. Upon completion of the program, students are qualified for positions such as legal assistant, law clerk, court clerk and paralegal. The program is accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada, which allows students to apply for membership in the Society upon graduation.
