Programme Focus

This programme is for individuals interested in digital processes and their impact on leadership and work life. It connects leadership and digitalization with organization, communication, and human resource management. The programme is a foundational education, most relevant for those with prior work experience.

What You Will Study

The curriculum covers digital work methods in organizations and digital communication. It also explores digital organization and leadership, and human resource management in the context of digital transformation. Students will gain knowledge of digital transformation challenges, including security, legal, and ethical aspects. They will learn to analyze, apply, and reflect on the links between digitalization and leadership.

Entry Requirements and Costs

Applicants need general university admission or equivalent prior learning. Membership in Fagforbundet is mandatory. The university offers 100 places, allocated by lottery among qualified applicants. Fagforbundet covers the study costs. Students are responsible for travel, accommodation, and study materials. A semester fee applies.

Schedule and Format

This is a 1-year, part-time certificate/diploma programme. It comprises 30 study credits over two semesters. Instruction is in Norwegian (NO). The programme begins in September with a physical meeting at Rena. Subsequent teaching includes online lectures, digital group work, and guidance. Most teaching is during weekdays. Recorded sessions are available for some parts of the online teaching.
