The Licence - Droit (Law) provides a foundational grounding in the French and European legal system. Students engage with areas including civil law, criminal law, constitutional law, administrative law, and private international law, developing skills in legal reasoning, argumentation, and case analysis. This three-year bachelor programme is taught in French at Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Jacob-Bellecombette, France. Tuition is 178 EUR per year, with studies beginning in September. The licence is the standard entry point into the French legal education pathway and opens routes toward master programmes in law, as well as careers in legal consulting, corporate compliance, public administration, and, following further qualifications, the bar or judiciary.
