Bachelor in Licence - Gestion

Tuition fees are 178 EUR per year.

The licence in Gestion (Management) offered by Universite de Caen Normandie in Caen, France introduces students to how organizations are structured, financed, and run. Coursework typically spans accounting, corporate finance, marketing, human resources, organizational behavior, and business law, building a broad toolkit for understanding how firms make decisions and allocate resources. Students also work on quantitative methods and statistics that support later specialization in areas such as finance, marketing, or human resource management. All instruction takes place in French. This three-year bachelor's program begins in September and has a yearly tuition of 178 EUR. Because management is treated as a general academic discipline in French universities, the licence gives students a wide view of business functions before they choose a professional focus, whether through a specialized master's degree or direct entry into the workforce. Typical career directions after this kind of degree include junior roles in accounting, sales, marketing, project coordination, or general management support in companies of various sizes. Some graduates use the licence as a foundation for further study in business schools or university master's programs, while others move directly into entry-level positions that value a broad grounding in management principles. The Caen location places students in a mid-sized Normandy city with student life oriented around the university campus. Overall, the program is structured to develop analytical and organizational skills applicable across sectors, rather than training for one specific job title, leaving room for students to specialize once their interests become clearer.
