Exploring the complexities of language, literature, and culture, the Licence Lettres engages students in the intricate analysis of textual structures and the development of critical thinking and argumentation skills. The programme spans four disciplines: French Literature, Comparative Literature, Ancient Languages and Literatures, and Language Sciences (SDL). Students delve into the Approche linguistique et littéraire du Picard (langue Picard), a module dedicated to the linguistic and literary study of Picard, as well as a wide range of other modules from Littérature ancienne to Théorie, culture et critique littéraires. While the first year is interdisciplinary, students can later specialise in pathways like Lettres et Humanités or Professorat des écoles, culminating in a comprehensive 180 ECTS.
