Bachelor in Licence - Psychologie

At Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, tuition is 178 EUR per year.

Licence - Psychologie (Bachelor in Psychology) is a three-year bachelor's program at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord in Villetaneuse, France. Psychology is the scientific study of human thought, emotion, behaviour, and mental processes. The bachelor's curriculum typically introduces students to the main branches of the discipline—cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, clinical psychology, and neuropsychology—alongside research methods, statistics, and fundamental neuroscience. Students learn to read and evaluate empirical research and develop an understanding of how psychological knowledge is applied in therapeutic, organisational, and social settings. In France, clinical practice in psychology requires a master's degree, so the licence is the first stage of a longer academic path for those aiming to become practising psychologists. Graduates also enter fields such as human resources, education, social work, and research. All instruction is in French. The program lasts 3 years, starting in September, with yearly tuition of 178 EUR.
