Students also generally receive an introduction to research methods used to study education, along with exposure to the practical realities of schools, training organizations, and other learning environments. This Licence in Sciences de l'éducation et de la formation is offered by Université Grenoble Alpes, based in Gières, France. The degree is a three-year bachelor-level program, beginning in September, taught in French, with yearly tuition of 178 EUR. Many graduates use this degree as a stepping stone toward teacher training and classroom teaching, while others move into school counseling, educational administration, or roles supporting students with specific needs. Outside traditional schooling, graduates commonly find work in vocational and corporate training, designing and running learning programs for adult learners, or in educational publishing, nonprofit organizations, and public agencies focused on education policy.
