The Licence - Sciences et Humanités, Parcours Sciences et Humanités at Aix-Marseille Université, site de Marseille Saint Charles in Marseille, France is a three-year bachelor-level programme delivered in French from September, with a yearly tuition of 178 EUR. Sciences et Humanités is an interdisciplinary degree that deliberately bridges the natural sciences and the humanities, challenging the boundary between scientific and humanistic modes of enquiry. Students engage with mathematics, physics, biology, or computer science alongside philosophy, history of science, sociology, and literature, developing the capacity to think across disciplinary borders. The programme suits students who are curious about both the logic of scientific reasoning and the interpretive questions raised by history, culture, and human values. Career paths are diverse and include further study in either science or humanities at master's level, teaching, scientific journalism, cultural policy, and roles in organisations that require both technical literacy and communication skills. All instruction is in French.
