The programme runs over a single semester and is delivered part-time, primarily online with a face-to-face component at the Donegal – Letterkenny campus. It focuses on the legal framework governing the sale and supply of alcohol, the various types of liquor licences and contemporary issues such as online and distance sales. The course is aimed at staff in statutory, voluntary and legal organisations who need current knowledge to support their professional roles.
