Master in Literature

The Master of Literature (MLitt) is designed for students who already hold a master's degree and wish to engage in a substantial research project. This program is ideal for those who are passionate about literature and want to deepen their understanding through research. It offers flexibility in choosing subjects from the Faculty of Arts and Education, allowing students to explore new areas or build on their existing knowledge.

Students will undertake a 120-point thesis, which can be completed in one year of full-time study or over a longer period if studying part-time. The program encourages independent research and critical thinking, equipping students with the skills necessary to analyze complex texts and contribute to academic discussions. This experience prepares graduates for various roles in academia or related fields.

Graduates of the MLitt can pursue various career paths, including roles such as Research Assistant, Academic Writer, or Editor.
