This program prepares licensed practical nurses to become registered nurses in British Columbia. You will study nursing theory, clinical practice, and patient care in both hospital and community settings. The curriculum focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and community-based care. You will gain skills in assessment, treatment, and care coordination for diverse populations.

The program runs for 2.5 years in a full-time hybrid format. It includes five semesters with a mix of online and in-person classes. You will complete practicum placements to gain hands-on experience and build professional connections. Assessment is based on coursework, exams, and clinical performance. The program is approved by the College of Registered Nurses of B.C.

Admission is competitive. You must have a minimum B+ in required academic courses. The application deadline for the September intake is January 31. The Casper assessment is required and dates are posted in September of the year before entry. Graduates are eligible to write the registration exam to become a registered nurse.
