Graduates from the doctoral program in law and sustainability are poised to lead in roles that integrate sustainability into governance. This program is part of the liberal arts and sciences in sustainability within the Department of Liberal and International Social Sciences (SUSI). This research, beginning with the fundamental legal concept of sustainability, explores its compatibility with ESG clauses within statutes and contracts, aiming to assess their impact on corporate governance and strategic decision-making. This program will equip students to identify key intersections between law and sustainability, addressing the interpretative and practical challenges they present.
