About Master in M2 Cancérologie

The M2 Cancerologie programme at Université Paris-Saclay offers a one-year curriculum on a campus at Villejuif, designed to equip future professionals in the fight against cancer. The first semester focuses on theoretical training, divided into three blocks. The second block, which is common to all students, covers advanced topics in cellular and molecular biology of cancer, the tumor microenvironment, immune response, and anticancer therapeutics.

Students can choose between two paths – one for scientists and one for clinicians and pharmacists. This flexibility is complemented by a six-month research internship in an academic research lab. The curriculum is enriched by a partnership with IONIS engineering schools, enabling students to earn a double diploma.

The programme is led by Jean-Marc Ricort, a prominent researcher specialising in Cancer Cell Biology. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in research, clinical trials coordination, and academic roles.

Students benefit from a supportive environment, with access to advanced facilities and a network of renowned professionals.
