Master in M.A. Gen­der Stu­dies

MSc Gender Studies is associated with Bielefeld University's Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and features a module on Intersectionality and Difference, which examines the dynamics of power and privilege.

This two-year programme is designed to explore gender from various interdisciplinary perspectives, including social sciences, humanities, and cultural studies. The curriculum includes core modules on gender theory, methodology, and research design, along with electives that allow students to specialize in areas such as queer studies, gender and media, and gender and globalization. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus program, which encourages international exchange and collaboration.
