Master in Ma Refugee Integration

For Master in Ma Refugee Integration, applications for the Sep 2027 intake close on Aug 31, 2027; the tuition fee is 15,000 EUR per year.

Engaging with the complex, multifaceted challenges of forced displacement, the MA in Refugee Integration at Dublin City University places students at the intersection of policy, social practice, and human rights. Rather than viewing integration solely through a legal lens, this programme explores the lived experiences of refugees and the societal structures that facilitate or hinder their inclusion. You will examine the role of education, housing, employment, and community support systems in creating sustainable pathways for those seeking protection.

This course is designed for professionals and graduates who aim to influence policy, lead non-profit organizations, or conduct research in the humanitarian sector. By drawing on DCU’s expertise in intercultural studies and human rights, you will gain a critical understanding of both the local Irish context and the broader European and global frameworks surrounding migration. Students are encouraged to develop a sophisticated perspective on the ethical dimensions of integration, moving beyond traditional border-centric narratives to consider how inclusive societies can be built from the ground up.
