AEC in Mammography Imaging

This program is a post-DEC professional development certificate for radiodiagnostic technologists. It focuses on mammography imaging and includes online theory, lab practice at the college, and a four-week clinical placement. The program runs for 240 hours over one term, with most time dedicated to hands-on training and real-world practice.

Students learn to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms according to current standards. They gain skills in image quality control, anatomical and pathological analysis, and ethical practice. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect changes in the field and ensure graduates meet professional requirements.
