The University of North Georgia’s Accountancy (M.Acc.), 4+1 program allows UNG undergraduate accounting majors to seamlessly transition between their undergraduate and graduate degree. In most cases, students are able to complete both their master’s and bachelor’s in just five years. If you are a UNG accounting major, you can apply for early conditional acceptance into the MAcc 4+1 program the semester after you complete ACCT 3310 – Intermediate Accounting 1. If admitted into the program, you’ll have access to graduate level coursework your senior year. Opting for the 4+1 program early in your undergraduate study will make sure you are on the right path for both your undergraduate and graduate level degrees. UNG's Master of Accountancy (M.Acc.) program emphasizes the emerging trend of data analytics in the practice of accounting. The program will prepare you for the rapidly changing skills and competencies the practice of accounting requires today and will require in the future. The program will prepare you for entry into both non-public and public accountancy careers through advanced study and meets the 150-hour requirement and the 30-hour accountancy credit requirement for certified public accountant (CPA) licensure.
