About Master Automotive Systems Engineering

The Masterthesis in the third semester can be completed in cooperation with a company, even abroad. The programme is suitable for students who enjoy systems engineering and developing algorithms, and who want to build expertise in areas such as autonomous driving and vehicle networking. The programme lasts three semesters, with 30 ECTS credits awarded per semester.

Students can choose between two specialisations: Autonomous Systems and Artificial Intelligence or Digital Vehicle Development. The Autonomous Systems and Artificial Intelligence pathway focuses on intelligent and connected vehicle systems, including autonomous driving, vehicle networking, and security. The Digital Vehicle Development pathway covers topics like thermal systems, construction, and energy efficiency in heating and cooling technology.
