Master Biodiversite, Ecologie Et Evolution — Ecologie et Evolution (EE)

Tuition comes to 250 EUR per year.

Ecology and evolutionary biology study how organisms interact with their environments and with each other, and how species change over generations through processes such as natural selection and adaptation. Coursework in this area typically includes population biology, genetics, evolutionary theory, community and ecosystem ecology, and the statistical and field methods used to study living systems. The Master Biodiversite, Ecologie Et Evolution — Ecologie et Evolution (EE), offered at Université de Toulouse in Toulouse Cedex 9, France, provides training centered directly on these core areas of ecology and evolution, covering both theoretical concepts and the methods used to study biodiversity in natural settings. Graduates of ecology and evolution programs commonly pursue careers as research scientists, environmental consultants, conservation biologists, or roles within organizations working on biodiversity monitoring and environmental policy. This master's program runs for two years, is taught in French, and has an intake in September, with yearly tuition of 250 EUR. Students drawn to this discipline typically have a strong interest in the natural sciences and fieldwork, since studying ecology and evolution involves observing and measuring biological systems, applying statistical methods to biological data, and connecting these findings to broader questions about how species and ecosystems persist and change over time.
