Master Chimie — Excellence Minerve GPEx

At Université d'Orléans, tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

The Master Chimie, Excellence Minerve GPEx track, is offered by Université d'Orléans in Orleans Cedex 2, France. Chemistry as a field of study covers the composition, structure, properties, and transformations of matter, spanning organic, inorganic, analytical, and physical chemistry, and a master's program in the discipline generally deepens this foundation with more specialized coursework and laboratory research. Programs carrying an Excellence or Minerve designation in the French system are typically structured for students combining rigorous academic study with another demanding commitment, such as competitive sport, so scheduling and support are often adapted accordingly while academic content remains grounded in core chemistry. Subjects commonly covered in advanced chemistry master's programs include instrumental analysis, synthesis techniques, materials chemistry, and research methodology, often culminating in a laboratory-based research project or internship. Students in this discipline develop skills in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific communication that carry across many chemistry-related careers. Graduates commonly pursue roles such as research chemist, laboratory analyst, quality control specialist, or process engineer in sectors including pharmaceuticals, materials, energy, and environmental testing, and some continue into doctoral studies. The degree is a master, completed over two years, with instruction delivered in French, and the program begins in September. Yearly tuition is 250 EUR. As with other chemistry master's tracks, students should expect a combination of theoretical coursework and substantial hands-on laboratory work, since practical experimental competence is central to most careers built on this discipline.
