Launched in January 2024, the programme includes a course in shoulder and elbow ultrasound.

It is designed for clinicians specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. The curriculum covers theoretical and practical aspects of superspecialist surgery, including anatomy, biomechanics, diagnostic techniques, and rehabilitation principles. The programme is delivered through a combination of on-site and online lectures, practical sessions, and internships, totaling 1,500 hours over 12 months. The curriculum includes 60 ECTS and is offered in Italian. Notably, the programme is supported by and collaborates with the Società Italiana di Chirurgia della Spalla e del Gomito (SICSeG), ensuring alignment with national and international standards.

Students will engage in a variety of activities, including front lessons, seminars, and a significant amount of practical training, with a mandatory 80% attendance requirement. The programme is structured to be completed in one year, with one weekend of lessons per month and training sessions scheduled in alignment with partnering facilities.
