Master Creation Numerique — Design d'expérience et design d'interface DEDI

Tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

Master Creation Numerique at Université de Toulon, located in Toulon, France, covers the discipline of digital creation, and its Design d'expérience et design d'interface DEDI track focuses on user experience and interface design. This area of study examines how digital products such as websites, applications, and interactive systems are designed to be usable, accessible, and engaging for the people who interact with them. Students typically study interface design principles, user research methods, prototyping tools, interaction design, and the visual and graphic design skills needed to build coherent digital products. Coursework often includes usability testing, information architecture, and an understanding of how design decisions affect user behavior and satisfaction. The broader digital creation framing also brings in elements of multimedia production, digital art, and the technical foundations of web and software design. Students may work on design projects that require balancing aesthetic choices with functional and technical constraints, and the field increasingly involves collaboration with developers and product teams. Career paths associated with user experience and interface design include roles such as UX designer, UI designer, product designer, and digital design consultant, positions found across technology companies, design agencies, and in-house digital teams at larger organizations. Some graduates move into research-oriented roles focused on user testing and human-computer interaction, while others specialize in visual design for digital platforms. The skills developed in this track are also relevant to freelance design work and to organizations building their own digital products and services. This is a master's program lasting two years, with an inferred start date in September and yearly tuition of 250 EUR, taught in French.
