Master Digital Design

The FH Dortmund’s Master of Science in Digital Design delves into the digital transformation of society and economy, focusing on creating sustainable, functional, and economically viable digital solutions. The programme includes four thematic areas, including Gestaltungslehre and Baulehre, where students learn to apply artificial intelligence in the design process. Students work on projects from the start, building a personal portfolio, and can specialise through Wahlpflichtfächer and a choice of master thesis direction.

After graduation, Digital Designers work in various fields, including software development, consulting, and public administration, where KI is essential for designing and implementing digital solutions. The programme culminates in public semester exhibitions, providing real-world feedback from industry professionals.
