Master Gestion De L'Environnement

For Master Gestion De L'Environnement, tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

The Master Gestion de l'Environnement, offered by Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry in Montpellier Cedex 5, France, is a two-year graduate program in environmental management taught in French. This field addresses how organizations, public authorities, and businesses manage their impact on natural resources and ecosystems while complying with environmental regulation. Students typically study environmental law and policy, natural resource management, pollution control, environmental impact assessment, and the tools used to plan and monitor sustainability initiatives. The discipline also often includes elements of project management, since implementing environmental measures within organizations requires coordinating across technical, legal, and administrative functions. Graduates of environmental management programs commonly work as environmental officers or coordinators within companies required to manage regulatory compliance, in public agencies responsible for environmental protection and planning, or in consulting firms that advise businesses and municipalities on environmental strategy. Others move into roles focused on waste management, water resource planning, biodiversity conservation, or the assessment of environmental impacts for infrastructure and development projects. As environmental regulation continues to expand across sectors, this training also supports careers in sustainability reporting and corporate environmental policy. The program spans two years, beginning in September, with all instruction delivered in French at the Montpellier campus. Yearly tuition is two hundred fifty euros, consistent with the fee structure at French public universities.
