Teaching and research on public policy at LUMSA are widely recognized in Italy, with a longstanding tradition in the analysis of public policy and management.

This full-time on-campus programme equips students with advanced knowledge and skills in the management of public policies, fostering a critical perspective on public administration and governance. It is structured in five modules: Public Policy Analysis; Management of Public Administration; European and Comparative Public Policy; Planning and Management of Public Services; Public Finance and Budgeting. A key module, Public Policy Analysis, features case studies from both Italian and international contexts, ensuring a breadth of perspectives and practical insights. The programme culminates in a final project, allowing students to apply their learning to real-world scenarios. The programme runs for an academic year, starting in the autumn of 2026, and is delivered in Italian.
