Master Informatique — Applications interactives et données numériques (AIDN)

Tuition fees for Master Informatique — Applications interactives et données numériques (AIDN) are 250 EUR per year.

Université Bretagne Sud in Vannes offers the Master Informatique — Applications interactives et données numériques (AIDN), a two-year master's program taught in French. The specialization named in the program title points to two connected areas within computer science: the design of interactive software systems and the management and use of digital data. Interactive applications concern how users engage with software through interfaces, whether on desktop, web, or mobile platforms, and study covers topics such as user interface design, human-computer interaction principles, usability testing, and front-end and back-end development. The digital data component typically brings in database design, data structures, data processing pipelines, and methods for storing, querying, and visualizing information at scale. Students pursuing this combination often work on projects that require building an application from a functioning interface layer through to the data infrastructure that supports it, giving them exposure to full software development cycles. Related subjects frequently include web technologies, software architecture, algorithms, and increasingly data-driven techniques such as basic statistical analysis or exploratory data science applied within software products. Because interactive systems and data management intersect with many industries, graduates in this discipline find opportunities as software developers, full-stack engineers, user interface or user experience specialists, database administrators, and data analysts. Some go on to specialize further in fields such as data engineering or human-computer interaction research. The AIDN program runs over two years, begins in September, and is delivered in French at the Vannes campus of Université Bretagne Sud. The annual tuition for the program is 250 EUR.
