Master Informatique — Ingénierie en intelligence artificielle

Tuition fees are 250 EUR per year.

Ingénierie en intelligence artificielle is a specialization within the Master Informatique at Université Paris 8 - Vincennes - Saint-Denis, in St Denis Cedex, France. In English, the title translates to 'Artificial Intelligence Engineering.' Computer science covers the theory and practice of computation, and this particular track focuses on the design and implementation of artificial intelligence systems, including machine learning, data processing, and the software engineering practices needed to build and deploy intelligent applications. Students typically study algorithms, programming, machine learning methods, data structures, and the engineering practices used to move AI models from research into working software systems. Graduates from this kind of program commonly pursue roles as AI or machine learning engineers, software developers working on data-driven applications, data scientists, or research and development positions within technology companies and research organizations. The engineering emphasis of the program also supports careers building and maintaining production systems that rely on artificial intelligence components, across sectors ranging from technology firms to industry and public administration. The program spans two years and leads to a master's degree, taught in French, so applicants should have a solid command of the language for technical and programming-heavy coursework. The academic year begins in September. Yearly tuition is 250 EUR, in line with fees at French public universities. Students interested in building artificial intelligence systems from an engineering perspective may find this specialization at Université Paris 8 a relevant path into that growing field.
