Master Informatique — M1 Computer & Network Systems (PR1058)

At Université Paris-Saclay, the tuition fee is 250 EUR per year.

The Master Informatique — M1 Computer & Network Systems program at Université Paris-Saclay, based in Evry, France, belongs to the computer science field, with a specific focus on computer and network systems. This area of study examines how computers, operating systems, and communication networks are designed, built, and maintained to support reliable and efficient data exchange. Typical subjects include operating systems architecture, distributed systems, network protocols, systems administration, cloud infrastructure, and performance analysis. Students generally work with both theoretical models of computation and networking and hands-on configuration of systems, servers, and network equipment, gaining experience with the layered architectures that underpin modern digital infrastructure. Graduates trained in computer and network systems commonly find work as systems engineers, network administrators, infrastructure architects, or cloud engineers. Organizations across telecommunications, information technology services, finance, and industry all depend on specialists who can design and secure the systems that keep networks and servers running. Some graduates move into consulting roles advising organizations on infrastructure modernization, while others specialize further in areas such as cloud computing or systems security as their careers progress. This master's program runs for two years, with studies starting in September, and is taught in French. The yearly tuition is 250 EUR. Because computer and network systems programs often assume a background in computer science fundamentals, applicants should check the specific prerequisites required by Université Paris-Saclay before applying, as places on such tracks are frequently limited and competitive.
