Master Mathematiques Et Applications — Tronc commun

Tuition fees for Master Mathematiques Et Applications — Tronc commun are 250 EUR per year.

Mathematiques et Applications, offered here through a shared core track (Tronc commun), belongs to the discipline of mathematics and its applications. This field covers both pure mathematics, such as algebra, analysis, and geometry, and applied areas including statistics, probability, numerical methods, and mathematical modeling. Students typically study advanced calculus and analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, and computational techniques, along with the application of mathematical tools to problems in science, engineering, finance, or data analysis, depending on the direction taken within the program. Coursework often builds toward independent projects in which students apply mathematical reasoning and computational tools to a specific scientific or industrial problem. Career paths connected to this discipline include data analysis and data science, statistical consulting, actuarial work, engineering support roles, teaching, and research. Many graduates move into sectors such as finance, insurance, technology, and public research institutions where quantitative modeling and problem-solving are central to the work, while others pursue doctoral study in mathematics or a closely related quantitative field. This master's degree is delivered by Université des Antilles in Pointe-à-Pitre, France, over a duration of two years, with an anticipated start in September. Courses are taught in French, and the program has a yearly tuition of 250 EUR.
